IT Skills for Work – Autumn Term (mornings)

In a world ever reliant on the use of computers and software packages, the course aims to provide a solid grounding in Microsoft Office to develop key IT skills, useful for working in an office environment or managing a business from home.
You will learn how to use Word to create documents, posters and mail-merge letters, use Excel to create spreadsheets with formulas and charts and create a PowerPoint presentation.
The course also covers organising files and folders, working with an Access database and using Google Docs and Sheets as an alternative to Microsoft Office.

Tutor Kevin Halsall. This course will run Thursday mornings 1030-1230
