PAINTING WITH ACRYLICS AND WATERCOLOURS -Summer Term

COURSE OVERVIEW

During the 10-week course you will explore various watercolour and acrylic painting techniques: from transparencies, blooms, wet on wet, wet on dry, splattering, lifting to impasto, sgraffito, flat art, transfer and others. You  will also learn how to incorporate  mixed media techniques and experiment with the drawing tools to add an individual expression to the painting.  We will analyse the contemporary artists who are exceptional in employing the studied techniques and you will be encouraged to find your own visual language.  The course is open to all levels as it allows for experimentation. The students who attended the previous courses enjoyed the experience of learning the new skills in the supportive environment.  Come and join us, and try the new approach to painting!
