Why this course?

Following on from the Introduction to British Sign Language (BSL) course, this course will help you further develop your BSL vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills.

During the course, you will learn how to describe objects and locations, discuss travel and directions, talk about food and drink, use numbers and calendars, express emotions, discuss the weather, and much more.

You will also deepen your understanding of the Deaf community and Deaf culture, exploring the values, experiences, and traditions that shape Deaf identity.

By the end of the course, you will be able to take part confidently in moderate-level conversations and effectively give, receive, and understand information in British Sign Language.

Class times: 16:00-18:30

Further information

Suitable for students who have already attended to BSL Beginners course, or have previous experience. Not suitable for the complete beginner. Students must be aged 19+
