Our Access to Higher Education courses prepare you for university and are an alternative to the traditional route into undergraduate study.

We offer Access courses at our Central Campus and our focus is to encourage you to adopt the necessary academic skills to prepare you for the journey ahead.

Adult GCSEs

Whether you are looking to get your GCSE qualification or improve your confidence in English, maths or science, we can help. Our tutors are supportive, friendly and experienced. We have excellent achievement rates and will work with you to help you reach your goals.

Our GCSE courses are entirely free if you haven’t already achieved a Grade 4 (C) in your chosen subject.

Our free courses for jobseekers will support you on your journey back into work. You can apply if you are aged 19+, claim benefits or earn below £20,319 (T&C’s apply).

English courses for speakers of other languages (ESOL)

We have a range of ESOL courses to suit all learners and levels that we run throughout the year.

These include qualification courses (Ascentis Skills for Life) from Entry to Level 2, as well as integrated skills courses to support students with literacy and employability skills. We also offer a Pre-Entry course for students with little or no literacy.
