CAMPUSES AND FACILITIES AT BRIGHTON MET COLLEGE

Brighton MET has two campuses in the city with a range of facilities to make your time at college enjoyable and productive.

FACILITIES

Facilities include state-of-the-art workshops, studios and classrooms—which have been specifically designed for creative and digital specialisms—and a suite of new hair & beauty salons that are open to the general public. The new facilities position the College at the cutting edge of training for the creative and service industries.

CENTRAL BRIGHTON CAMPUS

Situated in the North Laine, our Central Campus is just minutes away from the vibrant mix of shops, cafés and entertainment that makes Brighton unique.

In Summer 2021 we opened our new £21 million centre. The new space is home to a range of extensive facilities including state-of-the-art workshops, studios and classrooms—which have been specifically designed for creative and digital specialisms—and a suite of new hair & beauty salons that are open to the general public. The new facilities position the College at the cutting edge of training for the creative and service industries.

FACILITIES

Facilities include state-of-the-art machinery for mechanical and electronic engineering, spacious workshops for carpentry and bricklaying and hair and beauty salons which are open to the public.

EAST CAMPUS

Set at the edge of the beautiful Brighton countryside, our East Campus is just minutes away from the array of shops, restaurants and entertainment at Brighton Marina.

East Campus is also the home of our new £9 million Construction and Trades Centre.

Library Services

With a well-stocked library collection and qualified staff, there’s always someone on hand to help. Specialist software as well as printing and scanning facilities are available to help you present that perfect assignment. Our study areas are ideal for quiet, uninterrupted study.

Our Libraries and Learning Resource Centres provide all the learning resources, internet access and study facilities you’ll need to get ahead.

The libraries are at the centre of academic life in the college, and we work closely with tutors to provide a targeted selection of print and online books, magazines and databases.

All students and staff are automatically members of the library and can borrow for free.

Our Learning Resources team can offer advice and tuition to groups or individual students on digital and software skills, referencing and research, including the use of online resources.
