Access to Higher Education | Diploma in Humanities & Social Science | Level 3

COURSE OVERVIEW

This access course helps you pursue a career in local government, civil service, trade unions, social services, voluntary organisations, charities or NGOs among others. The pathway is designed to prepare you for degrees in sociology, social policy, politics, international relations, law and a wide range of others in a related subject.
You will study topics in politics, current affairs, and issues such as power, class, gender, and race in contemporary society.
Our experienced teaching staff are passionate about their areas of expertise and are committed to helping you to attain your learning goals and meet your personal aims. On the course, you will also be supported with your UCAS application and we help prepare you for university admissions interviews.
Please note you must be aged 19 or older to join this course.

FURTHER INFORMATION

You must have a GCSE grade 9-4 (A* – C) in English and Maths.
You will be required to attend an interview with a member of the department.
