Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures) | City & Guilds Diploma in Electrical Installation | Level 3
COURSE OVERVIEW
If you are interested in a career in the electrical industry, then this course will provide the experience and knowledge required to progress to becoming a qualified electrician.
Using a mix of taught sessions and project work, you will be trained to fabricate containment, install and terminate cables, inspect and test electrical installations, and diagnose and rectify electrical faults, along with learning about the underpinning industry regulations and electrical science.

FURTHER INFORMATION
In order to study this Level 3 course, you must have completed the Level 2 Diploma Electrical Installation course AND have a minimum of 4 GCSEs including minimum grade 4 in English and grade 4 in maths.
After Level 3 you can progress to an apprenticeship to gain the City & Guilds qualification required to be a fully-qualified electrician.

You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’ projects and industry or workplace scenarios including work experience. Your final grade will be awarded as pass, merit or distinction.
