COURSE OVERVIEW
These SEND courses cater for 16-25 year olds with mild/moderate learningdifficulties, behavioural or social needs. These courses are also suitable forpeople with mental health concerns.Students gain skills and confidence through activities such as external daytrips, community volunteering and work experience. You will also haveopportunities to try vocational courses at the College in areas such ascatering, construction and music. Courses include literacy, numeracy and IT,as well as jobs search and employability skills.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Individual applications will be reviewed for appropriate skills and readinessfor each level but you should have achieved an Entry Level 2 in literacy.
Upon completion of this course students may move on to our level one foundation course.
Students will complete units of study , and an assignment will be completed at the end of the course . All the assignments will need to be completed in order to be successful.
