Level 1
Get Started in Business, IT & Travel, Level 1
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course will provide you with the relevant skills to pursue moving into a specific are of either Business, Travel or computing at Level 2.
Every type of business environment requires the ability to be organised, to use office equipment, work with others, deal with customers, answer the telephone, write letters, complete business documents and much more. During the course, you will develop a range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge in the areas of enterprise, finance, marketing and team building in business.
FURTHER INFORMATION
You will need at least 2 GCSEs at grade 2 or above, preferably including English & maths.
You will also need evidence of commitment and good attendance.
This is the starting point to moving into a level 2 qualification and beyond.
You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, workbook coursework. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’; projects and industry or workplace scenarios. Your final grade will be a pass, merit or distinction.
