COURSE OVERVIEW
This course covers a wide range of subjects within health and social care and at Level 3 you can choose from a number of optional modules to specialise in, such as nursing, social work, paramedical training or occupational therapy.
In addition to classroom learning, you will also undertake work placements to build up your practical experience.

FURTHER INFORMATION
At least four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths. If you do not have these grades, you can start your studies with a Level 2
If you do not qualify for Level 2, you can start on the Level 1 course and then move up to Level 2 after that.

You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’ projects and industry or workplace scenarios including work experience. Your final grade will be awarded as pass, merit or distinction.
