Introduction to Virtual Reality
COURSE OVERVIEW
On this short introductory course to Virtual Reality you will be introduced to the fundamentals of VR technology. We will explore its current uses and exciting future developments. You will learn about future opportunities in the VR industry and gain practical experience as a user of the Meta Quest 2 headsets. You will also have the opportunity to explore and find out how immersive technologies can change the landscape of the World in the near future.
FURTHER INFORMATION
There are no formal entry requirements. Participants will not be required to have any prior knowledge of cyber security but it is advantageous. It is expected that learners will be confident users of digital technology and proficient in the English Language.
After this course you will have experience with using some VR application and an understanding of progression routes available to you.
You will complete short exercises and a digital journal.
