The Diploma covers essential concepts in modern care, including the duty of care, safeguarding and advocacy, strategies for promoting wellbeing and techniques for special individual needs, this course will prepare you for a wide range of roles in healthcare.
If you already work in a care-based position, this qualification will endorse your competencies for senior-level roles in hospitals, domiciliary care, community support and other care settings.
Once enrolled, you will be given access to an E-Portfolio where you will be guided through your assessments by a fully Qualified Skills Coach.
As part of the assessment for this qualification, you will be required to undergo direct observation in a suitable environment.
This qualification is designed for those who wish to work or are already working in health and social care settings in England.
FURTHER INFORMATION
You should be at least 17 years old and need to be working on practical placement to be able to show competence in both knowledge and skills.
You should ideally have Level 2 Adult Care.
Upon successful completion, you may continue with your studies on to Level 4/5.
This qualification is delivered in the workplace with the use of our E portfolio system and a range of assessments, including pre-planned observations and reflective review.
All units are internally assessed by your Skills Coach.
