COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is equivalent to three A levels , It was created with employers for the real world, meaning that it was shaped by the care sector.
The course is assessed through assignments and portfolio evidence .
During the course you will cover a wide range of subjects within health and social care and at Level 3 you can choose from a number of optional modules to specialise in, such as social work, adult care , paramedical training or occupational therapy.
In addition to classroom learning, you will also undertake work placements to build up your practical experience.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Students must have 4 GCSEs at grade 4
these should include English and Maths at Grade 4 or above
Students may internally progress from the level two , but must have gained a Merit or higher and GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English.
Upon successful completion student can enter the employed “world of Care” or may wish to apply to university .
If you gain a Distinction you will achieve 144 ucas point
