This course is ideal for motivated learners aiming for careers in coaching, fitness, sports science or therapy who want a structured program combining practical application, theoretical study, personal development and the opportunity to progress into advanced qualifications or industry employment.

Learners can progress to Year 2 of the Level 3 programme, apply for specialist personal training routes, enter apprenticeships in sports coaching or fitness, begin employment within the leisure or sports sector, or progress to higher education in areas such as sports science, coaching, physical education, management or performance disciplines.
Teaching combines practical coaching sessions, academic theory, fitness and therapy modules, industry-linked work experience and optional academy participation. Assessment includes practical observations, coursework and real-life project scenarios to build confidence and competence, with grades awarded as pass, merit or distinction.
