Film and Broadcast students produce live internet show at the Brighton Dome

13 December 2022

Last week our Film and Broadcast students at Brighton MET worked to produce a live internet show of the annual Big Christmas Singalong!

Held annually at the prestigious Brighton Dome venue, this special event was led by The Choir with No Name Brighton, who are a choir that support homeless and marginalised people across Sussex.

Brighton MET students worked as camera operators, vision mixers and directors to create the live internet feed. You can watch the show here.

Jim Lee, Deputy Head of Learning for Film, Media and Photography, said: “Our students always excel at these events. It’s great to give them the opportunity to work as part of a professional broadcast crew, especially at such a worthwhile (and festive) event.”

The event included feel-good festive classics and performances from special guests including SK Shlomo, Sambaoke and Rock Choir. All donations and profits from this fundraiser event support The Choir with No Name Brighton (run in partnership with BHT Sussex).
