Haywards Heath College and Brighton MET's no brainer collaboration
Students across Brighton Metropolitan College and Haywards Heath College came together to collaborate on a fun project led by Jim Lee, Deputy Head of Learning. The project resulted in a ‘mockumentary’ style promotional video for a zombie college, called “Herd Community College”.
Creative and Performing Arts students from Haywards Heath College worked closely with the Media Make-up and Effects students from Brighton MET to be transformed into the living dead!
Alongside the fantastic acting and make-up students, Film and Photography students from MET took the lead on shooting all throughout the college and produced the finished project.
Jim Lee, expressed his delight over the final project: “Our Zombie day was such an amazing opportunity for students to work together, make new connections and contribute to an incredible film.
It was an opportunity for students to collaborate cross-course and cross college using their different skills to collaborate on a single project. The finished film is a real testament to the professionalism, creativity and ambition of all involved. Hopefully we will get more opportunities to work together in the very near future!”
