City & Guilds Unvented Hot Water
COURSE OVERVIEW
These qualifications are intended for those learners who wish to learn about the legal requirements for plumbing systems in the UK covered by the Installation, commissioning and safety aspects of hot water systems for domestic use in accordance with UK Building Regulations. These qualifications are suitable for those studying to become a plumber or heating and ventilating engineer. They are also suitable for those already employed within these industries and who wish to update their knowledge of Hot Water Systems in line with UK Building Regulations for CPD purposes.

City & Guilds does not set entry requirements for these qualifications. However, centres must ensure that candidates have the potential and opportunity to gain the qualifications.
After completing the Unvented Hot Water course you will be able to join the Competent Persons Scheme and self certify your own work. The qualification lasts for 5 years and will need renewal after this time.
