Fashion Design & Business | UAL Diploma/Extended Diploma in Creative Practice | Level 3
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is for aspiring fashion designers who want to develop their skills in designing, making and understanding the fast-paced and exciting world of fashion. Our fashion design and business course has been created to equip you with the skills and knowledge to develop your career in the fashion industry.
Our students progress directly into the industry or on to fashion degrees at some of the UK’;s most prestigious universities.
FURTHER INFORMATION
At least four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths, and a creative subject and your portfolio of creative work.
Most of our Level 3 students go on to higher education including renowned universities such as the London College of Fashion, Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Art, to study a specialised aspect of the fashion industry. Others go in to internships, direct employment in the fashion industry or fashion retail, self-employment as a maker / designer or on to our Level 4 Creative Enterprise course.

You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’ projects and industry or workplace scenarios including work experience. Your final grade will be awarded as pass, merit or distinction.
