COURSE OVERVIEW
These SEND courses cater for 16-25 year olds with mild/moderate learningdifficulties, behavioural or social needs. These courses are also suitable forpeople with mental health concerns.Students gain skills and confidence through activities such as external daytrips, community volunteering and work experience. This course is a specificintroduction to the hospitality and catering industry.Gateway courses also include literacy, numeracy and IT, as well as jobs searchand employability skills.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Individual applications will be reviewed for appropriate skills and readinessfor each level but you should have achieved an Entry Level 2 in literacy.
Upon successful achievement of the course ,Students may progress on the the 2nd year of this program to study the full certificate .
Students are assessed , through a combination of practical assessment and course work.
