This Entry Level 2 SEND programme develops foundational independence, confidence and practical skills through community engagement, volunteering, vocational tasters and supported activities, forming an essential stepping stone toward Entry 3 and higher foundation learning.

Designed for SEND learners needing structured early-stage development before progressing to higher entry levels, with support tailored to individual targets.
- Develop early independence skills including daily routines, communication and self-care.
- Experience vocational tasters in catering, construction, music and other college areas.
- Participate in trips, volunteering and community-based projects building confidence.
- Strengthen literacy, numeracy, IT and employability skills within a supportive setting.
Progression to Entry Level 3 Gateway 2 or other foundation programmes as appropriate.
Assessed through unit-based practical tasks mapped to individual learning goals and reviewed for readiness to progress to Entry 3.
