Pre-Access | Award in Skills for Professions in Health and Social Care

COURSE OVERVIEW

The course will cover a range of academic skills that are designed to help you to progress onto a Level 3 Access to HE. The units covered will improve your ability to use a variety of literary techniques to help interpret the purpose of texts. It will also provide the ability to develop research skills and to support your ICT abilities.
This course will also give you the opportunity to prepare your personal statements to support your University application while on the Access to HE course.
There may also be an opportunity for those looking to study nursing to have the opportunity for work experience through the NHS.
Please note that this course runs One day a week (day TBC) for 3 hours for 10 weeks.
