COURSE OVERVIEW
The tourism and hospitality industry in the UK is an important driver of economic growth, employing over 3.2 million people nationally, with the potential of creating a further 500,000 new jobs by 2022.
Would you like to gain extensive knowledge and industry insight in the UK tourism industry, the hospitality sector and the UK conference and event industry? If yes, then this course could be for you.
Studying Tourism with Conferences & Events at the MET is fun, exciting and will leave you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to progress into employment or progress in Higher Education.
This vocational and practical course will extend your skills in customer service and event planning by working with local employers to plan, run and evaluate an event.
