Electrical | City & Guilds Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) | Level 3 (part time)

COURSE OVERVIEW

The next step towards becoming a qualified electrician.
Along with health and safety principles, you will learn about different types of cables and working environments, as well as inspection, testing and commissioning of electrical installations.
You will also gain experience by working in our workshops that simulate the workplace.
On successful completion, you will be at an Improver/ Electrician’;s Mate level. In order to become a fully qualified Electrician you will still be required to complete the onsite competency units and an AM2 practical assessment.

This course is an adult part-time evening class taught at our East Brighton campus on Wilson Avenue.

FURTHER INFORMATION

  • Completed a Level 2 Electrical Installations qualification within five years of starting the course
  • Two GCSEs at 9-1 (A*-G)
  • Interview required
